What is the first step?
I offer a free phone consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy. We can also discuss fees and scheduling and any other questions you may have about therapy.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes in length. Extended sessions are available. I typically meet with my clients one time per week and I do my best to accommodate your schedule.
Is the information I share with you confidential?
All sessions and any information you disclose to me is confidential. The exception is if you are at risk of causing harm to yourself or others, and in situations of child or elder abuse.
What are your fees?
At this time, I accept the following insurances: BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and Optum/United Behavioral Health. My fees for self pay range from $150 to $200. I do offer a sliding scale for self pay patients on a case by case basis. I accept cash, visa/master cards, and checks.
What happens if I can’t make my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call and leave a message on my voicemail or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note, I have a 24 hour notice cancellation policy. You will be billed for missed appointments that are not cancelled within 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.
